The horizontal centrifugal pumps SHX series consists of five mechanical seal pumps. Every pump is made out of stainless steel AISI 316 and has its own mechanical seal pump specifications. Whether a mechanical seal pump is suited for your horizontal pump application depends on several factors: temperature, contamination, and type of chemistry, and installation. In case your process solution contains metallic particles or a high concentration of solids, seal pumps are the right option. For zero emission applications you should be looking at magnetic drive pumps like the new Hendor MXH series. The robust horizontal pumps SHX series is predominantly used in the GMF-, powder coating-, galvanizing-, and automotive industry. Especially in high temperature, high alkaline applications.
